When getting medical compression stockings fitted, it’s important that there is no fluid retention in your leg. Therefore, it may be necessary to bandage your limb or wear a compression wrap beforehand.

Two-layer compression wrap

A two-layer compression wrap is an advanced 2-in-1 compression system, specifically designed for the effective treatment of open wounds. The system consists of an understocking and an overstocking. Once the leg is wrapped, the compression helps remove accumulated fluid and continues until the wound has fully closed.

The understocking makes it easier to apply the overstocking. It provides light compression, secures the wound dressing and can be worn continuously, day and night. The overstocking features a reinforced heel and an open toe and is only worn during the day to offer optimal compression and support.

Toe wraps

Toe wraps are used to treat mild swelling around the toes and forefoot. Made from ultra-thin, soft material, they are designed to be worn either under a medical compression stocking or on their own. These wraps can be comfortably worn both during the day and at night, depending on the user's needs.

Hook-and-loop compression wraps

Hook-and-loop compression wraps offer a practical solution for people requiring long-term compression, when bandaging is not an option and traditional medical compression stockings do not provide sufficient pressure. These wraps are made from non-elastic strips that fasten with a hook-and-loop closure. Unlike medical compression stockings, hook-and-loop compression wraps can also be worn at night and are easily adjustable to accommodate changes in limb size, ensuring they stay in place and fit correctly. Our accompanying video demonstrates how easy it is to apply and remove the CircAid JuxtaLite compression wrap.

These products are designed to provide comfort and effective treatment, without the need for complex bandaging techniques. Hook-and-loop compression wraps also encourage self-reliance. Discover more about these and other solutions on our information pages and take control of your health with the right compression aids.

In addition to medical compression stockings for arms and legs, compression wraps and hook-and-loop systems, we specialise in all forms and applications of compression therapy, including thoracic compression, head and neck wraps, compression for the genital area and point pressure devices (PPD).
