Olmed has four branches in Leiden, Spijkenisse, Maastricht, Vlissingen as well as various fitting locations throughout the Netherlands, guaranteeing fast and efficient service.
Our compression therapists offer consultations at multiple locations and work closely with medical specialists, GPs, and occupational therapists, ensuring you receive the best care tailored to your individual needs. In addition to our four branches, we also visit hospitals, nursing homes and health centres in your area.

Olmed is an SEMH-certified company, meeting the highest quality standards in healthcare aids, including medical compression stockings, and wound and compression care. This certification is required by the major health insurers and each year, the SEMH checks to ensure we continue to meet these standards.
SEMH (Stichting Erkenningsregeling voor leveranciers van Medische Hulpmiddelen) is a Dutch foundation responsible for certifying suppliers of medical devices.
An SEMH-certified supplier is a professional who, through training and years of experience, knows how to act according to the required standards. A certified supplier provides devices that are precisely tailored to meet care requirements and continually ensures that the aid remains suited to your needs. The supplier also verifies afterwards that the appropriate solution has been selected.
A SEMH-certified supplier is affiliated with an independent complaints committee. If you have a complaint about the supplier’s service and are unable to resolve it directly, you can submit it to the independent complaints committee (source www.semh.info). Olmed is a member of the Dutch independent complaints system erisietsmisgegaan.nl.

Olmed holds the SEMH certification for the established requirements and works closely with NLNet (a patient organisation) and NVCZ (a trade and professional association). All medical compression stockings we supply meet strict quality requirements. These include the CE mark, RAL certification and inclusion in the 'Lijst van Bernink' (Dutch register of approved MCS).
We have agreements with all health insurers and healthcare administration offices for the medical aids we supply, which are covered by basic insurance or the Dutch Long-term Care Act (WLZ). We have also established agreements with hospitals and institutions regarding the medical aids provided as part of specialist medical care. We aim to maintain an excellent price-quality ratio and function as a trusted partner to hospitals and institutions. Your eligibility for reimbursement is based on your medical indication, personal contribution, maximum coverage and any applicable excess.
